There are several types of betting involved in Boxing betting. There is betting simply on the winner of the match and betting on possibility of a draw. All just based on money lines. But there are also some other types of betting involved in Boxing betting. There is betting on how many rounds the match will go and betting on specific round the match will end. There is also parlay-type of betting which is actually betting on the winner of the fight and how the fight will be decided if it is by knockout or else by decision.
Most likely, money lines must be considered most especially when betting simply on the winner of the match and betting on possibility of a draw. From our previous article, money lines are the odds of the game that ascertain how much is to be won when betting for the favorite or else for the underdog and that they can be positive (+), and they can be negative (-). Positive (+) is always the underdog while negative (-) is always the favorite.
We will still use same example, like the one we had in our previous article.
Favorite: -170
Underdog: +150
Draw: +800
Explanation would be, for the favorite which is -170, $170 must be placed as bet to win $100; for the underdog which is +150, $100 must be placed as bet to win $150; and for the draw which is +800, $100 must be placed as bet to win $800.
The money lines can still be used with other types of betting particularly with parlay-type of betting which is actually betting on the winner of the fight and how the fight will be decided if it is by knockout or else by decision. Money lines are of course odds, they can really help.

Indeed, boxing is also a sport to bet on though many people don’t realize this. For being a sport to bet on, it is not that popular. In terms of popularity, it is far behind other sports to bet on just like baseball, basketball and football. For some time, it has been unrecognized that is also a sport to bet on and that even a lot of bets can come from the sport itself.
Some sports bettors just don’t realize that there can also be big money in boxing, most especially with betting on the scene. And it is just so easy to have big money. There can be betting, there can be placing of bets. Well this can be accomplished easily, it is just so easy to place bets on boxing though.
Nonetheless, it will be a match, bets can be placed on either of the two boxers involved. The bets can be for the winner or at times can be on possibility of a draw, all will be based on money lines. Not only one type of betting is involved in Baseball betting, but actually two. There is the money line and there is also the run line.
The money line is nonetheless that odds of the game that determine how much is to be won when betting for the favorite or else for the underdog. There can be negative money line that can be the highest and determine the favorite team and there can be negative money line that can be the lowest and determine the underdog. There can also be positive money line that can be the highest and can be the lowest, most likely, both determine the underdog.
The betting line must be expressed as dollar with cents and even decimal at some instances. Basically, odds of -1.50 and -150 just mean the same thing. Favorite that is indeed -150 means that 150 must be bet to win 100. However, the underdog that is +150 means that 100 must be bet to win 100. Nonetheless, favorite is always a minus and underdog is always a plus.
On the other hand, the run line is used only when there is one team that is obviously the favorite, due to a large margin. Just like point spread of Football, a number of runs like 1 or 2 is subtracted from the score of the favorite team.
The money line and the run line are the types of betting involved in Baseball betting. They are to be apparent on a match result. Novice players who will get into Baseball betting may find them confusing at first. But of course, with deep understanding how they work and what their purpose is, they may not be confusing. Those who are just new to sports betting may don’t have the idea that Baseball is one of the easiest sports to bet on because it is truly one of the easiest sports to handicap. Well this has become one the realities left unrecognized.
Unfortunately, though Baseball is one of the easiest sports to bet on because it is truly one of the easiest sports to handicap, it is not anywhere near as popular as people may expect it to be. Baseball when involves betting can be complicated for certain bettors. This must be one of the reasons why though Baseball is one of the easiest sport to bet on because it is truly one of the easiest sports to handicap, it is not anywhere near as popular as people may expect it to be.
Well with Baseball betting, there are no point spreads and the baseball odds are expressed as Money Lines. Just a note, Money Lines are odds that are expressed in terms of dollar.
When placing a bet on a favorite, more than a dollar must be laid down just to win a dollar. And, when placing a bet on an underdog, a dollar must be wagered to win more than a dollar. The equation can be just so simple.
